Tour In the Footsteps of Eminescu
From Piata Amzei and Calea Victoriei to Lipscani or Stirbei Voda, Bucharest is full of places that Eminescu passed through, lived or visited. After more than 170 years since his birth, we are inviting you for a tour on the streets full of poetry of the capital, in the footsteps of the great poet

On January 15, 1850 was born the man who would become the greatest poet of the Romanian nation, the Unmatched Poet of Romanian literature.
This walking tour is reminiscent of the poet's journey through Bucharest, so the steps will take us through the places where Eminescu lived and created, little known places; we will find interesting stories from his tumultuous life, we will recite some verses from his poems and we will light a candle in his memory.
What does the experience include?
- Find out lesser known stories about the poet's life
- Discover on foot the places in Bucharest where the poet walked and where he lived
- You will have a guided tour, in which your guide will tell you and show all the things listed above.

Requirements for participants:
Comfortable shoes (the tour takes place on foot)
The vaccination certificate is not required to participate in the tour, but it is necessary to wear a mask and keep a social distance from the other participants.
