Stargazing - Discover the night sky near Bucharest

Explore the night sky from a dark-sky spot near Bucharest - only 30 minutes away from the city - with an experienced astronomer as your guide. Your stargazing experience includes a guided laser tour of the stars and constellations we can see. We will also have a portable telescope at your disposal to take you on a journey through the universe in search of exotic celestial objects located many thousands of light years away from us.

On this occasion, we will take you to the starry night sky, on a guided tour with the help of the laser, during which you will be able to discover the stars and constellations visible from the ground, and we will give you some tips on how to find and guide you by the Star Polar!

A grand tour of the hidden sky, in which you will be able to see the light from distant nebulae or even galaxies located millions of light years away. Last but not least, if the moon and/or planets in our solar system are visible, we will visit them with a telescope , surely.

This experience lasts around 3-3 ½ hours and is ideal for individuals, groups, couples or families. The experience is also suitable for children between the ages of 7 and 14, in which case they will be able to participate accompanied by adults.

What happens if it rains or there are clouds on the night of the experience?

Naturally, clouds and rain are a factor that prevents the observation of the sky. If these phenomena happen to take place on the set night, then we can reschedule the experience until a date when the weather conditions will allow it to take place.

What does the experience include?

• Guided tour with the laser in the night sky, led by an astronomist with experience in this field;

• Observation  some deep sky objects;
• Observing planets;
• Moon observation;
• Telescope search for a planet and a Deep sky;
• The final picture;
• Interactive Q&A session;
• The opportunity to spend a few hours in the open air, on a night with a sky full of stars, with interesting people, to socialize and break away from the daily routine in a relaxing and constructive way.

GENERAL DATA

Requirements for participants:

Warm, winter clothes (at this time of the year the nights are cold);

You can take a reclining chair, chaise longue or an inflatable mattress with you - to make your experience more pleasant;

If you want to have light during the experience, our advice is to use a red tape on your light source (flashlight, phone flashlight, etc.) or a front that also has a red light;

Minimum age: 7 years (for participants between 7-14 years of age can participate in this experience only accompanied by an adult);

For this experience to take place, a minimum of 6 participants is required.
