Madrid's Las Ventas Arena Tour

Visit the third largest bullfighting arena in the world, Las Ventas in Madrid. This kind of experience allows you to visit the square and the Las Ventas museum and discover its place and history. A historic site, inaugurated in 1931, which today has a capacity of over 23,700 seats.

Since 1951, the Bullfighting Museum has been put into use inside the venue, where a complete collection of objects and equipment related to bullfighting and the history of this activity is exhibited. In 2015, the extension works of the museum were completed, which enlarged and improved the exhibition space, as well as its library.

This experience gives you the opportunity to see Las Ventas in Madrid at your own pace, benefit from an audio guide that will help you learn more about the story of the place, and enjoy more Virtual Reality experiences during the tour.

GENERAL DATA

Requirements for participants:

It is necessary to keep the access voucher throughout the tour;

The voucher can only be used for the date for which it was purchased;

The last access with entrance and audio guide is made 1 hour before closing;

Preserving this heritage is everyone's responsibility, so please respect special places such as the Chapel or Museum;

For the safety of participants in the tour, drinks, food, umbrellas or luggage must remain outside the museum;

For your convenience, the Museum has a box office service where you can leave bags, backpacks and packages;

Photographs can be taken throughout the arena, but it is not allowed to take photos and video footage inside the museum;

The tour is adapted for people with mobility difficulties;

The route of the tour may vary in case of events or maintenance works.

Important information

The tour does not include transportation to and from the location. This is done on its own by each participant;

Access point: Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, C. de Alcalá, 237, 28028 Madrid, entrance through the museum.

Date:

Tours take place every day of the year (except January 1 and December 25);

On bullfighting days, access to tours is off two hours before the event;

Estimated tour duration: 45 minutes.

Timings:

Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 (last access time);

Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 15:30 (last access time).
