Codorníu The Iconic Tasting Tour (Barcelona)

Part of the almost 500-year history of Codorníu House, the Catalan creator of "cava", and its architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, gathered in one of the greatest masterpieces of modernist art in the world, can be discovered in this iconic tour din Barcelona.

This summer, we invite you to discover the underground cellars of Casa Codorníu and to be seduced by the sensory experience offered by 3 emblematic wine cellars.

Immersion by train to one of the oldest wineries in Spain means to descend in the 30 km of underground galleries of the winery, to discover the secrets of the creator of "cava" and the modernist, special beauty of the winery Codorníu, symbol of Catalan luxury.

The tour is guided by Codorníu staff and lasts about an hour and a half. During it, the process of making a bottle of Cava and the history of this house are explained. After organizing the group of participants in the reception of the winery, known as the Cava Cathedral, they will admire the modernist architectural complex of the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch and enjoy a train tour through the underground cellars.

At the end of the tour, there will be a tasting of two types of premium cava, and the visit will end at the Codorníu shop where participants can purchase all Codorníu products at special prices.
