Discover Arenal Volcano National Park - Live from Costa Rica

The majestic Arenal volcano in Costa Rica, whose height reaches 1,657 m, is one of the most active in this country, so that from 1968 to 2010 it erupted constantly. For this reason, this area is one of the few in the world where tourists can walk on the trials formed out of lava.

Arenal Volcano National Park is a natural wonder, where tropical vegetation is home to countless species of wildlife from white-faced monkeys to jaguars, ocelots, hummingbirds, toucans and reptiles (including the dreaded Boa snakes, iguanas and many more). others). At the same time, at the foothill of the mountain is the beautiful Lake Arenal, the largest lake in Costa Rica (85 square kilometers, with a depth ranging from 30 to 60 meters) that provides electricity for the entire country.

"Discover the Arenal Volcano National Park" is a virtual hike from the entrance to this area to the nearest observation point of the volcano.

The experience is hosted by live streaming on the spot by Alejandro, local guide in Costa Rica.

During the tour, Alejandro will lead you through two different types of forest, you will cross with him the trails formed out by the lava of the volcano to reach an observation point where, if it is a clear day, you can see the volcano up close and Lake Arenal. Alejandro will show you live lush plants and very interesting trees that grow in this beautiful area, animals and insects. He will tell you interesting stories about the history of the volcano and will explain more about the geology and ecology of the place.
