The stories of Dambovita River

The destinies of Bucharest and Dambovita have always been intertwined. From the 266 kilometers measured by the river from its springs to its discharge into Arges, no less than 24 kilometers pass through the heart of the city.

On March 27, we invite you for a walk along Dambovita, to find out her stories.

We discover true legends and stories about evil, about how it was a few hundred years ago and how it has changed or what buildings and palaces have been its neighbors over time.

The tour starts from Cotroceni Bridge and reaches Bucur Ciobanul church. The route is about 5 kilometers long, during which we will talk about the points of interest encountered on the way.

What does the experience include?
